college week 2




 hey chat, week 2 is here

on Saturday I got to sleep in hehe, and went to high fit AND yoga. High fit good! yoga bad. and then went to hyrum reservoir with Maggie and other Rachel. after that I did laundry at Maggies and then drove down to Farmington to get Remi and take Tyler and kya to the airport. 

Sunday I woke up and almost missed church bc I thought that 9 am church meant I could sleep until 9 and leave at 9:40 to get there by 10. Thank goodness I processed all this before falling back to sleep. so went to church in bountiful. then I hung out with Remi until the YSA devotional, which was SO GOOD. ik y'all aren't single anymore but you should go listen to the whole thing, the speakers and songs were so so good. 

Monday I woke up at 5:45 for my TRIATHALONNNN. it was super chill, I went with my friends and we did the swimming together and biking, which is why it took a bit longer. then for the running part I decided to go off on my own hehe. I beat a lot of people in my group during the running so I am super super curious to see how I would've done actually trying in the other 2 things. Super fun though, we are gonna do it again and we should do a family one :) then after we got Einsteins bagel mmmm. and went to Lizzies grandparents to have burgers, and corn on the cob and peach cobbler mmmmm. then I went back to Farmington and packed up all remis stuff and we drove to Logan. I dropped her off at Maggies house (bless) and Maggie and I went on a 2 mile run haha. then went home and slept. 

Tuesday had class. went work. went to high stakes bingo. morgan almost won but lost in rock paper scissors HA. went to froyo. went 4 mile run w mag. OH ALSO GOT MY STUDIO but its kinda buns bc i have  nothing to decorate it and have to share small space and have no drawers or lamp.

Wednesday. Work, class, work again. went to tandoori oven with our old coworker! went on walk after. 

thurs: had class all dayyy and went to lunch at maggies in between. saw remi. went to work after more class. went to the gallery opening after work for free food (morg was working). had some really yummy peppers and cheesecake bites. and then walked home and got free ice cream (dab) and went on 2 mile run w maggie again. 

fri: NO CLASS YAYYY. but work in morning. then plasma. then free birria taco and chips and drink at the tacospot. no joke. fully free. i paid nothing!! then picked up morg and went to help aunt anita do face painting. got pizza and donuts and went home and packed and drove to hannahs house.

sat: MUDGIRL RUN!!! so so fun we went through so many mud pits and got so muddy. i stayed with grace and didn’t really run as much as i wanted but it was still so fun! then after we showered and went to the brazilian festival. IT WAS SO COOL AND FUN. we git espetinhos and coxinha and coconut limade and acai… SO GOOD AND YUM. then we drive home to logan and watched oceans 8. then went bed.

Organic chemistry will be my hardest class, and then I have three other nutrition classes and then a basketball class with rach.  Some highlights of this week:  3 new friends in my cohort so we have basically all our classes together!  Sushi with Rachel and her roommates for Grace’s birthday 🎉  My plants are growing really really well and not dying 😂 And it’s cooling down again which means cold fresh air and warm cozy blankets all night long (my favorite)  I love you all so much and hope you’ll want to join too so I can hear more about your lives!

The day I was born

Still here? Great! This week was filled with lots of adventures that I will not share because we are only here for the good stuff. Magdalena had planned an excellent birthday with Jimmy John’s, Oreos, and a wonderful trip to my local jewelry store for a casual nine-hour shift. Since Maggie’s been caught left footed, we have been finding new ways to help her get around. Just do not ask her to try to get in the cart at Walmart. She was not a fan… We then made a star appearance at the local men’s league, where I am able to acquire my weekly three fouls, ten half fives, and four calls for a sub because I am old. This 27-year-old man, reeking of Icy Hot for his creaky bones, was making another run for men’s league glory, and we won. As a reward, a young Ricky gifted me a life-size lookalike of myself.
